The national “Plant-Based Food and Nutrition: Innovation and Challenges” symposium took place on November 14 and 15 at Kellogg West Hotel and Conference Center.
The symposium featured engaging activities and presentations focused on plant-based research and innovation from distinguished and esteemed professionals and industry experts.
CPPE Dining Services shared information about Enterprises’ efforts in food and nutrition at resource expos, and hosted symposium guests at Centerpointe for lunch and tours.
“Japanese cardiologists, technology companies, business owners, professors and policy makers were amazed by how effective the dining system is on campus,” said Belal Hasan, associate professor of Nutrition and Food Science. “There are a few people interested in having conversations and future business collaborations. I’m proud to serve on a campus with such a great team and leader.”
